For the seventh consecutive year, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and Innovation Works (IW) are teaming up to host the largest forum of its kind showcasing the most promising AI and Robotics startups in the Mid-West and Mid-Atlantic region. The previous year’s event attracted 400+ institutional VCs, Strategics, and Angel Investors from across the country.
The showcase will feature companies vetted by a selection committee of technical and investment experts from CMU, IW, and greater the robotics & AI community. Investors will also have the opportunity to meet with founders both formally and informally. The profile of companies are as follows:
SECTOR: Robotics (hardware) or AI (software) companies that are in the process of raising funds or planning to raise capital within the next year.
REGION: Companies based in the Pittsburgh area, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic region.
STAGE: Pre-Seed, Seed, and Early stage.
