On Sept. 19, join us in celebrating three local nonprofit organizations receiving New Philanthropic Leaders grants for transitional housing opportunities for women of color and their families.
Join the New Philanthropic Leaders when staff from the three finalist nonprofits share their stories of service. Your ticket includes a $20 “vote” that you will donate to the participating organization of your choice. Grants from the New Philanthropic Leaders and The Pittsburgh Foundation, totaling more than $30,000, will be added to funds crowdsourced at the party and will be divided among these three exceptional nonprofits at the end of the night.
We invite you to listen to powerful stories, meet new people, enjoy refreshments and celebrate organizations helping our neighbors access affordable housing.
The pitch-in party is the culmination of The Pittsburgh Foundation’s 2024 New Philanthropic Leaders program, a group of young and mid-career professionals who have spent the last year exploring crucial issues affecting our region.
